It's been 10 years since the minimum wage has been increased while Businesses are making record profits and the rich are getting richer. The Republican Contract with Business (America) is working to make rich richer and the poor poorer. Republicans attacked welfare for poor so they can give more money to business and the rich. Republicans have reduce regulation of Business so they could screw you will fees, given big tax breaks to businesses some who pay no tax at all and millions to farmers not to plant crops this is welfare for rich but I guess that ok. Yes we all got a tax break but how much did you really get and what could you buy with it not much on both counts. Not all people who need a hand out or a hand up are crooks some have been laid off to increase profits for business while others the high cost of medical bills may have put them on path to the poor house. Does this make them crooks or bad people no it does not. A country is only as good or as bad as the quality of life for all its people not just the rich. Republicans have no compassion for the poor only for the dollars they can put in there pocket.
