The energy crisis of 2000-2001 shows the need for more regulation not less. The energy crisis would not have happened if regulation that had been in place had not been removed. The price at the gas pump tells you we need more regulation. If the price of oil goes up the price at the pump should not go up that day or the next. The gas they are pumping is the gas that's in the ground, gas that has already been paid for.
