Is Free speech only for republicans?

No all Americans have the right to speak their beliefs. The
right to free speech was granted to us by are forefathers it's
part of the Bill of Rights. The
right to free speech is what makes American great; to restrict that
right, goes against everything American. Remember when Clinton was
in office and how the Republicans hounded and attack him for his
affair with Monica Lewinsky. Everyone had a say nobody got threaten
and nobody lost their job. The Republicans spent a lot of our hard-earned
money on something that had no effect on his ability to be president.
They tried to impeach him for something that was between him, his
wife, Monica Lewinsky and his god, not the American people. Yes
Clinton did lie but it had nothing to do with his running the oval
office, is was about his personal life and did not cost any Americans
their lives or their livelihood. How many people would have told
the truth? Not many, at least not the ones who wanted to stay married.
I am not saying it was right it was dumb. However was it right for
the government to pry into a private sexual affair between two consenting
adults and then try to impeach him for it? No, it may have been
dumb on his part however it was act was not a criminal that would
affect his ability to do his job. If it was a criminal act, drug
or alcohol abuse while on the job then yes any of which would affect
his ability to do his job.
The Bush administration failed us when the energy company gouged
us, lead us into war under false pretense, destroyed fifty years
of goodwill, gave up one of our spy's to keep the lies, increased
the Budget
Deficit, stretched our troops to the breaking point, increased
the threat to nation security and lost focus on war on terror. The
national guard should be home protecting Americans and our infrastructure
not in Iraq as targets for anyone who does not like American. The
army should have finished up in Afghanistan, found Bin Ladden and
been fighting the real war on terror. Instead terrorist have been
given time to regroup and rearm and our troops are stretched to
the limit and lack the gear and support they need. Do you really
feel safer? How many lies did Bush tell us in his quest for war
you probably don't have enough fingers or toes to count.
If you say something against Bush or a republican you face boycotts,
threats, humiliation and possible lost of work. The Dixie chicks
made the mistake of criticizing
President Bush, they got slammed,
threaten,
radio
stations refused to play their songs, shows got canceled. They
were even called un-American. Whoppie Goldberg lost
her job with Slim-fast because she made a comment about Bush
and a part of female anatomy. Just after Bush was elected Rob Lowe
while appearing on the Dennis Miller show he made similar a comment
"He liked Bush" refereeing to the same part of female
anatomy there was no boycotts, no threats, no outcries just laughs.
Now comedians can't even make jokes about Bush something has gone
terrible wrong in American. For some Republicanism in the 21st century
has become a perverted form of McCarthyism and has no place in America.
