Has the American news media failed the American people or is there a vast right wing conspiracy and the American news media has become a propaganda tool of the right? Maybe that's why Bush has been given a pass. When Clinton was in office the media was all over him and Monica Lewinsky. Not day went by when they were not calling for his head. The American news media has a duty to America and the American people first and foremost, not the President and not the political party they belong to. Since Bush has been in office we have had a fake energy crisis, the Enron fiasco, the outing of a America CIA agent, possible Election fraud in both the 2000 and 2004 elections, false claims of Weapons of Mass Destruction, false claims of links between Saddam and Al-quida, the Halliburton no bid contract, possible conflicts of interest, suspension of the Geneva Convention, failure to protect our troops, abuse of prisoners of war in Afghanistan, Cuba and Iraq. Bush sent our troops into harms way with a pack of lies. Bush with his grand plan to free Iraq, our soldiers are dying for his lies, our reputation has been trashed, the people of Iraq are in worst shape now than they were before the war and our ability to fight the war on terror has been degraded. Failure to secure Saddam's weapons after the war has given the terrorist more weapons to harm more of our troops. Where are the calls for Bush's head? The foxes are in the hen house while the guard dogs are sleeping.
